Bill Barbour’s 50 Years at Irish Hills Featured in Knox Pages

Irish Hills got a nice write-up in Knox Pages this summer, and we wanted to share it with you. The article covers our 11th annual Junior Golf Camp, which has grown from just 9 campers to 108 over the years, and the Barbour family’s role in running it — from Bill’s wife Heather to son Billy, who now leads the camp.

 

The piece also notes a milestone we’re pretty proud of: Bill will celebrate, as the article puts it, “his 50th year of owning and operating Irish Hills Golf Club” this fall, a big deal for our family and for the local golf community.
